Saturday, 26th March 2005 (00:30am)

Day 4 of this year’s All Ireland Championships was the busiest day with 10 new Champions crowned (both individual & team competitions). As usual all the results are available above. As the solo championships came to a completion today in the Theatre Hall at the Helix in the late hours of Saturday night, it meant that earlier in the day over in the O’Mahony Hall, the commencement of the always entertaining & exciting figure championships got underway with the Unmixed Invention U/16 Championship. Many look forward to this part of the week and although it can prove to be a nervous & anxious time for both teachers & dancers alike, it is a fantastic spectacle for the ‘neutral’ spectator and today proved to be no different!!

Tomorrow (Sunday) concentrates the championships in just the O’Mahony Hall and with the final 5 figure championships up for grabs the crowds & excitement on Easter Sunday at the All Irelands is sure to live up to it’s usual final day finale. The bad news is that there’s an hours less sleep for everyone tonight with the clocks moving forward for summertime but the good news is that the final day has the nice start time of mid morning before the last hurrah of this years All Ireland Championships………

Friday, 25th March 2005 (11:27pm)
With 21 out of a total of 36 competitions now complete, Friday produced another 6 All Ireland Champions for 2005! The excitement in the halls was fantastic as each set of results was announced and the cheering & celebrating lasted long into the night! Don’t forget to check out all the full results above. These are being updated at the end of each day so always check back for the set of particular results which you are watching out for.

Tomorrow (Saturday) brings the last of the Solo Championships as the All Irelands progress to the figure competitions. We wish all teams the very best of success and hope that everyone has an enjoyable & exciting Easter weekend!!

Finally, we wish to thank everyone attending the Championships for their continued co-operation in the running of the event. As a reminder please read the note from the Chairperson of An Comhdhail, Ms. Carol Carberry, issued yesterday (See Thursday summary below).
