Photographs have been supplied by Photographer Garrett Lynch who was in attendance during both weekends. New to
this year’s Dublin Championships each of the top 5 winners in the Solo Championships received their cups and prizes on 5
rostrums, which added to the prize giving ceremony and was well received by the winners. The beautiful royal blue
sashes/pennants presented to the 1st prize winner were made and supplied by AnaMarie Carroll and our thanks go out to
her for them. The Teachers prizes were the well renowned Newbridge Christmas decorations which we’re sure shone
beautifully on their tree at Christmas.

Thank you to Mr. Barry Lee, who designed and provided, the Results Software Programme used at the Championships
and who was there on hand to help out during both weekends.

As usual, on Sunday before the U/8 and U/9’s results there was a visit paid by “Santa Claus” who greeted all the
children and gave them some lollipops. He did a few “Irish Dancing Steps” and then all the children followed him dancing
around the hall. It was great fun!

A presentation of a beautiful Waterford Glass Vase was made to Ms. Pat Cadwell Kennedy ADCRG for her wonderful
achievement of being 40 years teaching Irish Dancing.

We would finally like to thank our Adjudicators and Musicians at the Dublin Championships 2005, Ms. Mary Byrne
ADCRG, Ms. Michelle Lee ADCRG, Ms. Sharon Murray ADCRG, Ms. Lolo Robinson ADCRG, Ms. Ciara Rogers
ADCRG and Mr. Peter Thompson ADCRG and musicians, Mr. Colm Keogh, Mr. Colm McGill, Mr. Aidan O’Neill

We are now preparing for the Leinster Championships which will take place on 26th February, 2006, in the Basketball
Arena, Tallaght and 10th, 11th and 12th March 2006 in The Helix, DCU, Glasnevin. For more information on the
